Mario Gosselin (racing Driver)
Mario Gosselin (born October 20, 1971) is a Canadian-American professional stock car racing driver, crew chief, and team owner. He owns DGM Racing, a team that competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In 2004, he became the second native of the Province of Quebec to start in a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race after Superbike legend Yvon Duhamel. In 1997, he became the first Canadian to win the championship title for the NASCAR CARS Pro Cup Series. Racing career Gosselin is a multiple-time winner in the ARCA Racing Series and two-time CARS Pro Cup Series champion. He began his racing career in 1990 at Hialeah, Florida by winning the pure stock division championship. He moved into late models the next year and has multiple championships and many wins to his credit at various speedways. Sainte-Marie is a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is the seat of the Municipalité régionale de la Nouvelle-Beauce, in Chaudière-Appalaches. The Heart of America 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. Since 2020, the race has been 134 laps and long. From 2001 to 2019, the race was one of a few on the Truck Series schedule to be 250 miles (Daytona, Talladega, Texas' 400km event). In 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic schedule changes, the Truck Series had three races at Kansas with the first two being a doubleheader in July after being postponed from May and the other one being held in the fall. Each of the three races was 200 miles instead of 250. In 2021, the track only had one race again but the race distance remained 200 miles. Yvon Duhamel
Yvon Duhamel (October 17, 1939 – August 17, 2021) was a French Canadian professional motorcycle and snowmobile racer. A six-time winner of the White Trophy, the highest award in Canadian motorcycle racing, he was one of the most accomplished motorcycle racers in Canadian motorsports history. Duhamel was a versatile rider competing in numerous motorcycle racing disciplines including; trials, motocross, ice racing, drag racing, flat track racing and most prominently in road racing as a member of the Kawasaki factory racing team. His motorcycle racing career spanned the transition from the 60 horsepower four-stroke motorcycles of the 1960s, to the 100 horsepower two-stroke motorcycles of the 1970s. A sport bike (sports motorcycle, or sports bike) is a motorcycle designed and optimized for speed, acceleration, braking, and cornering on asphalt concrete race tracks and roads. They are mainly designed for performance at the expense of comfort, fuel economy, and storage in comparison with other motorcycles.
