Mario Geudens
Mario Geudens (born 13 May 1975) is a Belgian former professional snooker player. He played on the main tour over six seasons between 1993 and 2000, being ranked inside the top 100 for the 1998/1999 season. As an amateur, Geudens has won the Belgian Amateur Championship twice, in 1999 and 2009, and was runner-up in that event in 1992. Career Born in 1975, Geudens turned professional in 1993, aged seventeen. He entered nine tournaments during his début season, his best performance coming in the 1994 World Championship, where he reached the fifth qualifying round; he lost there 10–4 to Chris Small. In qualifying for the 1995 World Championship, Geudens reached the last 96 in a ranking event for the first time, beating Joe Canny and Simon Morris, both 5–2, Joe Grech 10–7, and Karl Payne 10–5, but lost at this stage 6–10 to Nick Terry. Nick Pearce
Nicholas Pearce, known as Nick Pearce (born 25 January 1967) is an English former professional snooker player. Career Pearce was born in 1967, and first attracted public attention at the age of sixteen when he appeared on ''Junior Pot Black'' in 1983, defeated by fourteen-year-old Stephen Hendry 70–23 in the quarter-finals. Pearce turned professional in 1992, and won nine of his first eleven matches; however, the open nature of the tour at that time was such that these were played in his first two tournaments, and he reached only the last 96 at the 1992 Grand Prix. There, he faced veteran Welshman Cliff Wilson and made his first competitive century break, an effort of 100, but was defeated 4–5. Anthony McGill
Anthony McGill (born 5 February 1991) is a Scottish professional snooker player. He is a practice partner of retired snooker player Alan McManus. McGill turned professional in 2010, after finishing fourth in the 2009/2010 PIOS rankings. He won the 2016 Indian Open, after having previously never been beyond the quarter-final stage of a ranking event. Career Amateur years He was runner-up to Stuart Carrington in the 2006 Junior Pot Black. He was runner-up in the 2008 European Under-19's Championship behind Stephen Craigie. 2010 World Open (snooker)
The 2010 12bet.com World Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament held between 18 and 26 September 2010 at the S.E.C.C. in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the first time that the World Open was sponsored by 12bet.com. Ronnie O'Sullivan made the 73rd official maximum break during his match against Mark King. This was O'Sullivan's record 10th official 147, however he had to be persuaded by referee Jan Verhaas to play the final , as he became aware that there was no distinct prize money for a maximum break in the tournament and planned to end his break at 140. There was only a £4,000 prize for the highest break of the tournament. Kevin Van Hove-Speltincx (born 15 October 1983) is a Belgium former professional snooker player. He is the former European Snooker Champion. Career In 2004, Van Hove entered the Belgian Amateur Championship, defeating Jim Spapen 7–1 in the final to win the championship for the first time. In 2007 at the EBSA European Snooker Championship, he managed to advance to the final in which he defeated Rodney Goggins 7–2. Bjorn Haneveer
Bjorn Haneveer (born 4 September 1976 in) is a Belgian snooker player and commentator. Haneveer, formerly a professional competitor, now plays at semi-professional level and also commentates on snooker matches for Dutch Eurosport. Career A six-time Belgian snooker champion (last title won in May 2007 vs Patrick Delsemme), Haneveer lost in the final of the European Championship in Scotland in June, 2000. He was European Champion at Enschede, Netherlands and at Riga, Latvia in June, 2001. Haneveer won the snooker gold medal at the sixth World Games held in Akita, Japan, in August, 2001. Anthony Hamilton (snooker Player)
Anthony Stephen Hamilton (born 29 June 1971) is an English professional snooker player. He has spent five seasons ranked among the game's elite Top 16 and fifteen in the Top 32, reaching a career-high of number ten in the world in the 1999/2000 season. Hamilton is a four-time World Championship quarter-finalist, a Masters semi-finalist and compiler of more than 300 competitive century breaks during his long career. He won his first ranking title in 2017, beating Ali Carter 9–6 in the final of the German Masters, doing so at the age of 45. Michael Judge
Michael Judge (born 12 January 1975 in Dublin) is a professional snooker player from the Republic of Ireland. His best performance in a ranking event came in the 2004 Grand Prix, where he reached the semi-finals, and he reached his highest ranking, 24th, for the 2002–03 season. He returned to the professional tour having gained a two-year card at 2021 Q School. Career Judge qualified for the World Championship three times, his best performance coming in the 2001 tournament, after knocking Jimmy White out in qualifying and John Parrott in the first round, before being knocked out by fellow Dubliner Ken Doherty. He lost to eventual champion Peter Ebdon in the first round a year later. He has lost in the final qualifying round on seven occasions, a record.
