Mario Austin
Mario Trevon Austin (born February 26, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. College career Austin played 3 seasons at Mississippi State under head coach Rick Stansbury. He is well known for hitting a clutch 3-point shot in the first 3-point attempt of his career at Mississippi State in a 2002 win over Kentucky. Austin was named second team All-SEC that season (2001–02). Austin returned to the Bulldogs in 2002–03 and was named first team All-SEC. Austin declared for the 2003 NBA Draft at the season, choosing not to return to Mississippi State for his senior year. Professional career After being drafted 36th overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls, Austin left to play overseas, starting his professional career with CSKA Moscow, but was released after an injury before playing an official game. Richard Lee Stansbury (born December 23, 1959), is an American college basketball and the current head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball team. He was previously the head coach at Mississippi State. He was hired as the WKU head coach on March 28, 2016. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The Israeli Basketball State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה בכדורסל) is the second most important professional basketball competition in Israel, after the Israeli Basketball Super League, Israeli Super League.
