Marina Łuczenko-Szczęsna (née Łuczenko; born 3 July 1989), known mononymously as Marina (stylized as MaRina), is a Polish singer, songwriter and actress. She is married to Polish footballer Wojciech Szczęsny. They have a son. Biography 1989–2008: Early life and career beginnings Marina Łuczenko was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine (then the USSR). At the age of two, she moved with her family to Poland. As a child, Marina took part in numerous singing contests and television music competitions, winning on many occasions. She began her professional career in 2000, appearing in Waldemar Krzysteks television play ''Ballada o zabójcach''. She competed in Poland's national final for the inaugural Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song "Sen". In 2004, Marina played the lead role of Juliet in Studio Buffo Theatres adaptation of ''Romeo and Juliet'' directed by Janusz Józefowicz. New Wave (competition)
New Wave (russian: Новая волна, ''Novaya volna'', lv, Jaunais Vilnis) is an international contest for young performers of popular music founded in 2002 by the Russian composer Igor Krutoy and Latvian pianist and composer Raimonds Pauls and later enhanced by the Russian superstar Alla Pugacheva. The contest usually lasts for six days: 3 contest days, 2 special event days and, at the end, the day where the contest's results are announced followed by an ending concert. Location For the first 14 years New Wave was held in the Latvian coastal city of Jūrmala, but in 2015 it moved to Sochi, the Russian Federation (other potential locations included Baku, Kaliningrad, Kazan and Crimea). Maja Sablewska (born 5 April 1980) is a Polish music manager, stylist and television personality. In 2011 she was a judge on TV show ''X Factor''. Since 2013 she has been hosting several makeover television shows. Early life and the music manager career As a 17-year-old she raised Natalia Kukulska's fan club. Many meetings with her after the concerts made their relationship closer. When she was 19, she was offered by the singer a babysitter job, which was the reason why she moved from her family town Sosnowiec to Warsaw. Tomasz Karolak (born Karolak Tomasz Pawel on 21 June 1971 in Radom, Poland) is a Polish actor. Biography He was born in Radom, where his parents – Hanna and Andrzej Karolak – were officers of the Polish People's Army during the Polish People's Republic (they served in the Air Regiment and Missile Squadron). He appeared in the comedy television series ''Bao-Bab, czyli zielono mi'' in 2003. He lived among others in Ustronie Morskie, Warsaw and Mińsk Mazowiecki, where he was involved in drama club work.
