Marina Picasso
Marina Picasso (born 14 November 1950) is the granddaughter of Pablo Picasso. She inherited a fifth of her grandfather's estate and has used much of the inheritance to fund humanitarian efforts for children in need. She has five children and lives in Geneva, Switzerland and Cannes, France. Early life Marina was born in 1950 to Emiliénne Lotte May and Paulo Picasso. Paulo was the son of a Russian ballerina Olga Khokhlova and artist Pablo Picasso. Her brother Pablito was born a year earlier on May 5, 1949. Marina's father Paolo worked odd jobs for Pablo Picasso (such as a chauffeur), and did not spend a lot of time with his immediate family. Consequently, Marina's parents divorced in 1953, three years after she was born. Paolo remarried Christine Pauplin and they had a son, Bernard Ruiz-Picasso. Bernard Ruiz-Picasso
Bernard Ruiz-Picasso (born 3 September 1959) is a businessman and art collector. He is the grandson of Pablo Picasso and the son of Paul and Christine Ruiz-Picasso. He curates international exhibitions dedicated to Pablo Picasso. Biography Bernard Ruiz-Picasso is the son of Paul Ruiz-Picasso, the first child of Pablo Picasso and his legitimate wife Olga Khokhlova, and is therefore the only "legitimate heir" of his grandfather's works, according to the legal system in place before 2002, together with his half-sister Marina Picasso. As such he is considered to be the person with the most important collection of Picasso's works. Florian Ruiz-Picasso (born 21 February 1990), is a Vietnamese-born French DJ and record producer based in Cannes. By adoption, he is a great-grandson of the well-known artist, Pablo Picasso. Jan Krugier
Janick "Jan" Krugier (12 May 1928 in Radom, Poland – 16 November 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland) was a Polish born Swiss dealer in modern art most known for his relationship to the works of Pablo Picasso and a survivor of the Holocaust. Life Krugier was raised by his father (his mother died when he was five), who made his living representing mining companies but whose passion was French art. At home, the dealer remembered, there were “bad Impressionists, lots of Utrillos.” During World War II he served as a member of the Polish resistance movement in World War II, Polish Resistance, was captured and then sent to Auschwitz. Villa La Californie
Villa La Californie, originally Villa Fénelon and now called Pavillon de Flore, is a villa at 22 Coste Belle Avenue in Cannes, France. It is located in the quarter of La Californie, from which the villa took its name. The villa was built in 1920 and served as the residence of artist Pablo Picasso from 1955 to 1961.
