Marika Vakacegu
Ratu Marika Toroca Vakacegu (born 23 June 1981 in Suva, Fiji) is a Fijian rugby union footballer. He plays as a wing, centre and fullback. He plays his rugby for French side Provence Rugby. He is 1.86m tall and weighs 90 kg. He first made a name for himself playing in the Digicel Cup for Suva on the wing. He also played for the Coastal Stallions in the Colonial Cup and was the top scorer. He then made the 2004 Fiji 7's team before getting a contract with the Cornish Pirates in the National Division One. He made his debut for the Fiji team against Samoa at the National Stadium in 2004. He also made the Fiji Barbarians team for the Pacific Rugby Cup. He was recruited into the Sale Sharks team for the 2009-10 Guinness Premiership as well as the 2009-10 Heineken Cup alongside another Fijian, Sisa Koyamaibole. Suva
Suva () is the capital and largest city of Fiji. It is the home of the country's largest metropolitan area and serves as its major port. The city is located on the southeast coast of the island of Viti Levu, in Rewa Province, Central Division. In 1877, the capital of Fiji was moved to Suva from Levuka, the main European colonial settlement at the time, due to its restrictive geography and environs. Samoa National Rugby Union Team
The Samoa national rugby union team (also known as Manu Samoa) represents Samoa in men's international rugby union and it is governed by the Samoa Rugby Union. They are also known as Manu Samoa, which is thought to derive from the name of a Samoan warrior. They perform a traditional Samoan challenge called the siva tau before each game. Samoa Rugby Union were formerly members of the Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance (PIRA) along with Fiji and Tonga. They are ranked 11th in the world. Rugby was introduced to Samoa in the early 1920s and a governing body was soon formed. The first international was played as Western Samoa against Fiji in August 1924. Pro D2
Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place. The bottom two are automatically relegated to Fédérale 1. The bottom two clubs of the Top 14 and the top two of Fédérale 1 then enter the Rugby Pro D2 for the next season. Sisa Koyamaibole
Sisaro Dautu Koyamaibole (born 6 March 1980) is a Fijian rugby union player. His usual position is at number eight. Koyamaibole also plays for Fiji, including playing in the 2003 Rugby World Cup, the 2007 Rugby World Cup and the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and has played for the Fiji Sevens in rugby sevens tournaments. At club level, he has represented Taranaki, Petrarca Padova, Toulon, Sale Sharks, Lyon OU, Bordeaux Bègles and currently plays for Brive. Career Born 6 March 1980 in Suva, Koyamaibole began his international career in 2001 making his debut against Tonga.
