Marijan Beneš
Marijan Beneš (11 June 1951 – 4 September 2018) was a Yugoslav Boxing, boxer from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is considered one of the best boxers in Yugoslav history. After a brilliant amateur career, culminating in the gold medal in European Amateur Boxing Championships in Belgrade, he turned professional in 1977, and won the European Boxing Union title in the light welterweights in 1979. Next year he fought for the World Boxing Association, WBA World super welterweight title but lost to title holder Ayub Kalule on points. Beneš withdrew from the ring in 1983, after a severe eye injury. In 2020 he was named as the best Bosnians, Bosnian boxer in 20th century. Marijan Pušnik (born 1 November 1960) is a Slovenian football manager. Managerial career Pušnik started his managerial career with Dravograd in 1994 but landed his first serious job as Celje manager in 2000. During his four years at Celje, his biggest success was in the 2002–03 season when his team finished second in the 2002–03 Slovenian PrvaLiga and runners-up of the 2002–03 Slovenian Football Cup. After a few years in Iran, he returned to Slovenia and took over Maribor in 2006 with whom he eliminated Villarreal in the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup. Marijan Brkić (born 20 January 1962), also known under the nickname Brk, is a Croatian guitarist and producer, best known for his work with Croatian bands such as Parni Valjak and Prljavo Kazalište, and solo artists, including Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni. He is one of the most popular Croatian guitarists and session musicians, and is also known as a composer, songwriter, arranger, producer and sound engineer. His first popular band was Prljavo Kazalište, with whom he played from 1979 to 1989. In 1991, he joined Parni Valjak as their lead guitarist. Since he joined them, Parni Valjak has released eight albums, both studio and live, as well as compilations. Marijan Brnčić (born 23 July 1940, in Tribalj, near Crikvenica, Kingdom of Yugoslavia) is a former Croatian football player. Club career He played as a centre back and central defensive midfielder but he was mostly deployed at left back. With Dinamo Zagreb he won 1966–67 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Brnčić was hailed as a player that could be put in any position in defense. International career Brnčić made his debut for Yugoslavia in a September 1962 friendly match against Ethiopia, coming on as a 75th-minute substitute for Vlatko Marković , and earned a total of 10 caps scoring no goals.
