Marija Ugrica ( sr-cyr, Марија Угрица) (born July 27, 1995 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a pop singer well known by her strong live performances and YouTube music covers. She has won numerous awards for her songs and performances in the country and abroad. Personal life Marija was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She lives with her parents and her older brother in Belgrade. She graduated from music school Josip Slavenski and elementary school Vladislav Ribnikar in 2010. At both schools, she was an excellent student. The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Euphoria" by Loreen. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the seventh edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was scheduled for 21 November 2009. 13 countries were confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to compete in the contest. The contest was won by Ralf Mackenbach for the Netherlands with the song "Click Clack". At the age of 14, he was the oldest person to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in its seven-year history. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest (often shortened to JESC, Junior Eurovision or Junior EuroSong) is an international song competition which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) annually since 2003. It is held in a different European city each year, however the same city can host the contest more than once. The competition has many similarities to the Eurovision Song Contest from which its name is taken. Each participating broadcaster sends an act, the members of which are aged 9 to 14 on the day of the contest, and an original song lasting three minutes at most to compete against the other participating entries.
