''OÄ‘Ä‘asat'' is a Sami television news programme broadcast in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Jointly produced by NRK, SVT and YLE, the public-service broadcasters in their respective countries, the programme is presented from NRK's studio in Norway. When the production of the programme began, its titles and graphics were different from NRK's domestic television news bulletins. In around 2008, the programme saw a new look; while it still differed from the revamped look of the rest of NRK's bulletins at the time, the lower thirds (as well as the subtitles on NRK's broadcast) were set in the same grid of graphics that NRK's bulletins used. It also utilised the Neo Sans typeface (NRK's on-screen typeface at the time) for its presentation. Liet-Lávlut
Liet International ( fy, Liet Ynternasjonaal), formerly Liet-Lávlut, is a song contest for musicians who speak any of Europe's regional or minority languages that was held the first time in Friesland in 2002. The goal of the festival is to boost interest in Europe's minority languages, especially with young people. Liet International began in 2002 as a spinoff of the Frisian-language song contest Liet (West Frisian for "song"), held annually in Leeuwarden/Ljouwert since 1991. The first three editions of Liet International likewise took place in Leeuwarden. Since 2006 it has been held in a different city each year. The 2006 and 2008 contests, held in the Swedish Sápmi, were titled Liet-Lávlut (''lávlut'' is Northern Sami for "sing"). Brita Maret "Sofia" Jannok (born 15 September 1982) is a Swedish Sami artist, singer, songwriter and radio host. Several times, she has publicly taken a stance in social media against the establishment of mines on land used by Sami reindeer herders. Together with Mariela Idivuoma, she was hostess of the Liet-Lávlut music festival in 2006. She has also hosted the program ''"Mailbmi – small people great music"'' on Swedish Radio P2, and the Sámi children's program ''Unna Junná'' for Yle. Her music is inspired from diverse musical influences, like folk, pop, jazz and yoik. She sings mostly in Northern Sami, but also sings and writes lyrics in Swedish and English as well. Sofia previously performed with Anna Kärrstedt in the duo ''"Sophia and Anna"''. She performed in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song Waterloo in Sámi ("Čáhcceloo"). Nordic combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing and ski jumping. HÃ¥vard Klemetsen (born 5 January 1979) is a Norwegian former Nordic combined skier who has competed since 2002, representing Kautokeino I.L. He debuted in the World Cup in 2003. He has four 4 x 5 km team medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in 2005 and bronze in 2007 and twice in 2011.
