Marie Muracciole
Marie Muracciole is a writer and curator based in Paris and Beirut. Early life Marie Muracciole studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. She shifted her visual art practice to writing in 1991. Career Muracciole has held positions as head of the cultural department at Paris's Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume until 2011. She taught in ESAD, Amiens, as a contemporary art professor until 1998, then as film theory professor at the École Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux until 2017. She has been the director of the Beirut Art Center from February 2014 to February 2019. Otobong Nkanga
Otobong Nkanga (born 1974) is a Nigerian-born visual artist and performance artist, based in Antwerp, Belgium. In 2015 she won the Yanghyun Prize. In her work she explores the social and topographical changes of her environment, observes their inherent complexities and understands how resources such as soil and earth, and their potential values, are subject to regional and cultural analysis. Peter Roehr
Peter Roehr (born 1 September 1944 in Lauenburg in Pommern; died 15 August 1968 in Frankfurt am Main) was a German Pop Art minimalist artist. Life Roehr was the only child of Kurt and Eleonora Röhr. After their divorce the mother moved with her child first to Leipzig and then to Frankfurt am Main. After visiting the Volksschule he completed an apprenticeship as producer for electronic signage in Frankfurt am Main. Afterward he studied from 1962 to 1966 at the Werkkunstschule (today RheinMain University of Applied Sciences) in Wiesbaden. He studied in the class of Vincent Weber and graduated in 1966. Élisabeth Ballet (born 1956), is a French sculptor. Ballet was born on 11 December 1956 at Cherbourg, in Normandy. She was in residence at the Villa Medici in Rome in 1984 and 1985. MAMCO
The MAMCO () is the contemporary art museum of Geneva, which opened in 1994. Amar Kanwar was born in New Delhi in 1964 where he continues to live and work as a filmmaker. Kanwar studied at the Department of History, Ramjas College, University of Delhi, Delhi University (1982-1985), and at the Mass Communication Research Center, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (1985–87).
