Marie Javins
Marie Javins (born April 22, 1966) is an American comic book editor, comic book colorist, and travel writer known for her long association with Marvel Comics and the Teshkeel Media Group. As of 2020, Javins is editor-in-chief of DC Comics. Career Javins attended Antioch College and interned at Marvel Comics and Epic Comics. After graduation, she was hired as an editorial assistant and secretary for Mark Gruenwald. Javins became a full editor at Marvel and Epic Comics in the early nineties, editing projects such as Akira, Groo, and Alex Ross's ''Earth X''. She also colored more than 2,000 pages. In 2001 Javins left Marvel to launch an around-the-world online project called MariesWorldTour.com. She circumnavigated the globe twice, documenting her journeys extensively. The WELL
The Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link, normally shortened to The WELL, was launched in 1985. It is one of the oldest continuously operating virtual communities. By 1993 it had 7,000 members, a staff of 12, and gross annual income of $2 million. A 1997 feature in ''Wired'' magazine called it "The world's most influential online community." In 2012, when it was last publicly offered for sale, it had 2,693 members. It is best known for its Internet forums, but also provides email, shell accounts, and web pages. Female (symbol: ♀) is the sex of an organism that produces the large non-motile ova (egg cells), the type of gamete (sex cell) that fuses with the male gamete during sexual reproduction. Robert Harras (born January 11, 1959''Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; page 107) is an American comics writer and editor, who was editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics from 1995 to 2000 and editor-in-chief of DC Comics from 2010 to 2020. Career Harras started his career at Marvel as assistant editor for Ralph Macchio, where he worked on such titles as ''The Saga of Crystar'', '' Dazzler'', ''ROM'', '' U.S. 1'', and ''Micronauts''. ''The 99'' ( ar, الـ99 or ) is a comic book, created by Naif Al-Mutawa and published by Teshkeel Comics, featuring a team of superheroes with special abilities based on the 99 attributes of Allah in Islam but some are virtues encouraged by a number of faiths. The character cast consists of Dr. Ramzi, a scholar and social activist, the 99 youngsters (some of them children), with special abilities conferred to them by "Noor" gemstones.
