Marie Askehave
Marie Askehave (born 21 November 1973) is a Danish actress and singer. She was born in Nibe, graduated from Statens Teaterskole in 2003, and since 8 July 2006 has been married to colleague David Owe. They have two daughters. Askehave has had many roles in TV and film productions and is probably best known for her 2007 role as Rie Skovgaard, in ''The Killing (Danish TV series), The Killing''. In March 2007, she released her first music album with the title ''Detour''. Askehave is a member of Denmark's Socialist People's Party (Denmark), Socialist People's Party. ''Those Who Kill'' ( da, Den som dræber) is a Danish crime TV series from 2011, which follows a fictitious unit within Copenhagen Police which specialises in investigating serial murders. The series was aired as five two-part stories in Denmark (i.e. ten episodes in total), but has aired as five feature-length episodes in most other countries. A separate 92 minutes feature film, ''Fortidens skygge'', which forms a continuation and ending of the series, premiered in Danish cinemas on 15 March 2012, and is being aired as the final episode or episodes of the series in many other countries, such as the UK and Germany. The series is created and written by Elsebeth Egholm and Stefan Jaworski, with various other screenwriters helping out as episode writers, among them Siv Rajendram, Rikke De Fine Licht and Morten Dragsted. ''Follow the Money'' ( da, Bedrag) is a Danish television financial crime thriller. The first series of ten episodes is set in the renewable energy business in Denmark. It was broadcast in Denmark in January 2016. The second series was broadcast in October–November 2016, continuing with most of the characters from the first series, but with the main focus on a bank practising P2P lending and their attempted takeover by a bank whose chair, Knud Christensen, was behind the fraud case investigated in the first season.
