Mariana Montes
Mariana Montes (born on Monday, 5 March 1979, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher. Since 1998, she has been pairing with Sebastián Arce and have travelled the world teaching and performing. As of 2011, they have visited more than 140 cities in 35 countries. Along with Sebastián, they created a dance performance ''Piazzoleando'' they choreographed and danced in the dance performance ''Exodo Tangueado''. She also appeared in the 2010 documentary Ad occhi chiusi by Simonetta Rossi. Argentine Tango
Argentine tango is a musical genre and accompanying social dance originating at the end of the 19th century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. It typically has a or rhythmic time signature, and two or three parts repeating in patterns such as ABAB or ABCAC. Its lyrics are marked by '' nostalgia'', sadness, and laments for lost love. The typical orchestra has several melodic instruments and is given a distinctive air by the bandoneon. It has continued to grow in popularity and spread internationally, adding modern elements without replacing the older ones. Sebastián Arce
Saint Sebastian (in Latin: ''Sebastianus''; Narbo, Gallia Narbonensis, Roman Empire c. AD 255 – Rome, Italia, Roman Empire c. AD 288) was an early Christian saint and martyr. According to traditional belief, he was killed during the Diocletianic Persecution of Christians. He was initially tied to a post or tree and shot with arrows, though this did not kill him. He was, according to tradition, rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome, which became a popular subject in 17th-century painting. In all versions of the story, shortly after his recovery he went to Diocletian to warn him about his sins, and as a result was clubbed to death. He is venerated in the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. The oldest record of the details of Sebastian's martyrdom is found in the ''Chronograph of 354'', which mentions him as a martyr, venerated on January 20.
