Mariana Efstratiou
Maria-Anastasia (Mariana) Efstratiou ( el, Μαριάνα Ευστρατίου) (born 17 April 1955 in Athens) is a Greek singer, connected on several occasions with the Eurovision Song Contest. In 1987 she appeared as a backing singer for the duo Bang. Efstratiou won the Greek national song contest in 1989, overcoming Greek superstar Anna Vissi, and represented Greece in Lausanne with '' To Diko Sou Asteri''. The song was placed ninth. In 1996, ERT selected her to represent Greece again, this time with the song '' Emis forame to himona anixiatika'', but the song could only manage 14th place in Oslo. Efstratiou sang three songs in the semi-finals of the Greek national contest in 1998, but none of them qualified for the final. She has worked with Mimis Plessas and she also appeared on stage on several occasions. She has published two records and a promo CD single. Christos Callow
Christos Callow was born in Athens in 1955. He studied vocal music at the National Conservatory in Athens and theatre at the Katselis Drama School. In 1979 he was given the part of Archbishop Ansnan in Jesus Christ Superstar. Callow appeared in numerous TV series including Granada Television's production of Lord Elgin and Some Stones of No Value. Marianna Zorba
Marianna Zorba ( el, Μαριάννα Ζορμπά; born 1 December 1967 in Athens) is a Greek singer and a music teacher. She loves ethnic and folk music. In 1997 she represented Greece in the 42nd Eurovision Song Contest. She was engaged to Manolis Manouselis, a composer, the week before the grand finale in Dublin. A few weeks after the contest they married. Marianna and the song, " Horepse" scored 39 points and reached 12th place. Marianna and Manolis decided to move to Crete in 2002. He works as an architect and she as a music teacher. Together they formed the duo ''Notios Anemos'' (''Southern Wind'') and they perform in music festivals, concerts and theatrical plays in Crete. They published a record together in 2005. The Eurovision Song Contest 1996 was the 41st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 18 May 1996 at the in Oslo, Norway. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster (NRK) and presented by Norwegian journalist and television presenter Ingvild Bryn and Norwegian singer Morten Harket, the contest was held in Norway following the country's victory at the with the song "" by Secret Garden. Maria-Elpida (Elina) Konstantopoulou ( el, Ελίνα Κωνσταντοπούλου; born 11 November 1970) is a Greek singer. She represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Biography Konstantopoulou was born in Athens and studied music and singing in the National Conservatory of Athens. Right after that she started to work as a professional singer at night clubs. In 1993, she was introduced to Nikos Terzis, who was at the time a young and fresh yet successful composer. They started to work together and Nikos composed three songs for her. She immediately signed for a music contract and her first album was out to the stores in 1994. Though a rookie, Elina had the summer hit of Greece in that year. Her song "Otan to tilefono htipisei" (When the phone rings) was a success. In 1995, she and Terzis co operated once more.
