Marian Cozma
Marian Cozma (8 September 1982 – 8 February 2009) was a Romanians, Romanian Team handball, handball player. He was born in Tei, Bucharest and died in Veszprém, Hungary after being attacked and stabbed in a nightclub fight. During his career he played for HC Dinamo București and KC Veszprém and he was also a member of the Romania men's national handball team, Romanian national handball team. Career Cozma began his handball career in HC Dinamo București. His father, Petre was also a handball player, and he guided his son to the sport. He played in the Dinamo first squad from 2002 to 2006 and won the Romanian championship with the club in the 2004–2005 season. During his time at Dinamo, Cozma was once attacked and stabbed near his house by a group of fanatic supporters of a rival team. Tei, Bucharest
Tei is a neighborhood in Bucharest, Romania - Sector 2. The name comes from the name of a lake in this area: Lacul Tei (Tilia, Linden Tree Lake). The name of the lake comes from the linden woods that existed around it in the past. At the beginning of the 19th century, the area belonged to the Ghica family, who built the Orthodox Teiul Doamnei Ghica Church (1833) and, in 1822 the Ghica Tei palace (Palatul Ghica). Around 1900, the area south of the "Calea Lacul Teiului" (today "Bulevardul Lacul Tei") had been sold to Bulgarians of Romania, Bulgarian gardeners (called "sârbi"). After the First World War, on the grounds located north and southeast of the "Calea Lacul Teiului", houses were built. Dinamo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București. History The stadium was built in 1951. First match played here was Dinamo – CSF CFR Timișoara, Locomotiva Timișoara 1–0, on 14 October 1951. In 2001, Floodlights (sport), floodlights were added, and in 2006 a major renovation of the stadium began, enlarging the VIP section, and raising the capacity of the Tribune 2 stand. The Romanian Handball Federation ( ro, Federaţia Română de Handbal) (FRH) is the governing body of handball in Romania. It is based in Bucharest. FRH is led by 6 departments. Pipera
Pipera village is a neighborhood in Voluntari, Ilfov County, at the northern edge of the city of Bucharest, Romania. Development Until 1995, Pipera was an ordinary village. After that, an "El Dorado" of land transactions began. Plots of land that were US$1/m2 reached in 2005 the US$250/m2. Teiul Doamnei Ghica Church
The Teiul Doamnei Ghica Church ( ro, Biserica Teiul Doamnei Ghica, lit. “Lady Ghica’s linden tree”) is a Romanian Orthodox church located at 3 Doamna Ghica Street in Bucharest, Romania. It is dedicated to the Feast of the Ascension. In the 18th century, according to the ''pisanie'', '' Vistier'' (treasurer) Barbu Văcărescu established a church that stood on the circle in front of the present structure. The latter was built in 1833 by Grigore IV Ghica, the former Prince of Wallachia, and his son Grigore. After the completion of construction, supervised by a German architect, the church was sanctified by Grigorie III, Metropolitan of Ungro-Wallachia. It then became a chapel of the neighboring Ghica Tei Palace. Repairs took place in 1894. The dome collapsed during the 1940 earthquake and was rebuilt simply, without the original Neoclassical decorations.
