Early life and Playboy Hamilton was born in Glendale, California and attended Glendale High School between 1957 and 1959. In 1964 Hamilton modeled for photographers Bill and Melba Figge, whom she met through her sister who worked as an artist at Figge Studio, then located in Glendale. She came to the United States on a war-bride ship with her mother. She was an American Citizen as her father was a U.S. Soldier in the American Army and was stationed in Belgium during World War II. A Playmate is a female model featured in the centerfold/gatefold of ''Playboy'' magazine as Playmate of the Month (PMOTM). The PMOTM's pictorial includes nude photographs and a centerfold poster, along with a pictorial biography and the "Playmate Data Sheet", which lists her birthdate, measurements, turn-ons, and turn-offs. At the end of the year, one of the 12 Playmates of the Month is named Playmate of the Year (PMOTY). Every Playmate of the Month is awarded a prize of US$25,000 and each Playmate of the Year receives an additional prize of US$100,000 plus a car (specifically, a short-term lease of a car) and other discretionary gifts. William Figge
William Vassar Figge (March 25, 1919 – May 1976) was an American photographer who, along with his wife Melba, ran a photography studio in Glendale, California. Biography Figge was a combat photographer in World War II. After the war, he failed to find work as a cinematographer, so he stayed with photography and specialised in portraiture, shooting weddings and contributing to ''Playboy'' magazine. Notably, he discovered many Playmates at weddings. Bill Figge, as he is sometimes called, shot 48 gatefolds and 3 covers. The couple ceased contributing to Playboy when the magazine became more risqué in the 1980s. Bill and Melba had three sons, (Greg, Stephan and Eric,) and one daughter (Leslie). Greg and Leslie run the studio that their parents began, Figge Studios. Eric, the only child to have formal education in photography, photographs architecture professionally. ''Fireball 500'' is a 1966 stock car racing film, blended with the beach party film genre. A vehicle for stars Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, and Fabian, it was one of a string of similar racing films from the 1960s.
