Princess Maria Petrovna Galitzine (11 May 1988 – 4 May 2020) was a Luxembourg-born Russian interior designer. Biography Princess Maria was born on 11 May 1988 in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg as the fourth of six children of Prince Peter Galitzine and Archduchess Maria Anna of Austria. She is a member of the House of Golitsyn, a Russian noble family with Lithuanian ancestry. Her mother, the daughter of Archduke Rudolf of Austria and Countess Xenia Czernichev-Besobrasov, is a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. Princess Maria was a great-granddaughter of Charles I and Zita of Bourbon-Parma, the last Emperor and Empress of Austria. She was also a descendant of King George II via his daughter Anne, Princess Royal. She was a younger sister of Princess Tatiana Galitzine. Golitsyn Family
The House of Golitsyn or Galitzine was one of the largest princely of the noble houses in the Tsardom of Russia and Russian Empire. Among them were boyars, warlords, diplomats, generals (the Mikhailovichs), stewards, chamberlains, the richest men of Russia (the Alexeyevichs), and provincial landlords (the Vasilyevichs). Since 1694 Bolshiye Vyazyomy was one of the ancestral estates of the Golitsyns, but many others, like Arkhangelskoye Palace and Dubrovitsy near Podolsk, were owned by different branches or members of the family. In the 1850s the Russian memoirist Filipp Vigel despaired: "So numerous are the Golitsyns that soon it will be impossible to mention any of them without the family tree at hand". Cardiac Aneurysm
Ventricular aneurysms are one of the many complications that may occur after a heart attack. The word aneurysm refers to a bulge or 'pocketing' of the wall or lining of a vessel commonly occurring in the blood vessels at the base of the septum, or within the aorta. In the heart, they usually arise from a patch of weakened tissue in a ventricular wall, which swells into a bubble filled with blood. This, in turn, may block the passageways leading out of the heart, leading to severely constricted blood flow to the body. Ventricular aneurysms can be fatal. They are usually non-rupturing because they are lined by scar tissue. A left ventricular aneurysm can be associated with ST elevation.
