Maria Elena Boschi
Maria Elena Boschi, (; born 24 January 1981) is an Italian lawyer and politician, member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2013. As a member of the Democratic Party, Boschi has served as Minister for Constitutional Reforms and Relations with the Parliament, from February 2014 to December 2016, delegated to the implementation of the Government Programme of Renzi Cabinet. From 12 December 2016 until 1 June 2018 she was the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, in Gentiloni Cabinet. A Roman catholic, among her supporters she is widely known with the acronym MEB. Boschi left the Democratic Party, and has since 2019 been a member of Matteo Renzi's liberal party Italia Viva. The secretary of the Council of Ministers ( it, Segretario del Consiglio dei Ministri) is a senior member of the Italian Cabinet. The secretary is one of the undersecretaries of state to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers but, unlike them, he sits in the Cabinet and helps the prime minister in coordinating the government and its meetings. World Youth Day (WYD) is an event for young people organized by the Catholic Church that was initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1985, sometimes nicknamed in later years as the "Catholic Woodstock". 2010 Tuscan Regional Election
The Tuscan regional election of 2010 took place on 28–29 March 2010. After two consecutive terms, President Claudio Martini of the Democratic Party chose not run for a third term. His successor, Enrico Rossi, was defeated in a landslide his centre-right opponent Monica Faenzi. The Democrats were by far the largest party, although they lost ground from previous elections. Minor candidates included Francesco Bosi for the Union of the Centre, Alfonso De Virgilis for the Italian Radicals and Ilario Palmisani for New Force.
