María Elena Orantes López (born 24 July 1968) is a Mexican politician from the Citizens' Movement party. She serves as a deputy of the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing the third electoral region and the state of Chiapas. Career In 1988, Orantes López joined the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), a year before graduating with a degree in communication sciences. A portion of her political and business career occurred in the state of Nuevo León, where she wrote for ''El Norte'' newspaper, was a municipal PRI councilor in Pueblo Nuevo, and anchored newscasts for Televisa Monterrey. Jimmy Dorsey recording The song was a number one hit for the Jimmy Dorsey orchestra with Bob Eberly on vocals. The recording was made on March 19, 1941 by Decca Records as catalog number 3698. María Elena is a Chilean town and commune in Tocopilla Province, Antofagasta Region. According to the 2012 census, the commune population was 4,593 and has an area of . History Maria Elena is named after Mary Ellen Comdon, the wife of the first saltpeter refinery works (''oficina salitre'') manager, Elias Cappelens. Originally, the name of the works was "Coya Norte".
