Margo Rey
Margo Rey (born Margarita Reymundo-Jurado; 18 October 1966) is a Mexican singer-songwriter whose original stage name was Margo Reymundo. Early life Rey was born in Acapulco, Mexico and grew up in Arlington and Dallas, Texas, the youngest of five children in the family. Her mother, Juana-Amparo Jurado, was a Flamenco dancer, and her father, Alejandro Reymundo, was a cliff diver. When Rey was two, the family moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She began performing at the age of 11. Career Early years In Texas, Rey took classical music training. As a teenager, Rey was the lead vocalist in Debutante, an all-female rock band in Arlington. The band toured the U.S. and overseas. In 1988, Debutante self-released an album, ''These Boots Were Made For Walkin. In the early 1990s, Rey began singing in The Ritual, a power-pop band. Noreen Fraser Foundation
The Noreen Fraser Foundation (NFF) was a national, non-profit, philanthropic organization based in Los Angeles. Its mission was to raise funds for breakthrough research that advances precision medicine for the prevention and treatment of women's cancers. Their hope was that the cancer will become a manageable disease that patients will live with and not die from, until it ceases to exist. The Noreen Fraser Foundation was founded in 2006 by producer Noreen Fraser. NFF was involved in numerous successful fundraising campaigns, including Stand Up To Cancer and MenForWomenNow.com. David Stephen Koz (born March 27, 1963) is an American smooth jazz saxophonist, composer, record producer, and radio personality based in California. Early life Dave Koz was born in Encino, California, to Jewish parents: Norman, a dermatologist and Audrey, a pharmacist. Dave has a brother, Jeff, who is also a musician, and a sister, Roberta. Although he is Jewish, Koz plays both Christmas and occasional Hanukkah songs at his concerts. He attended William Howard Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, performing on saxophone as a member of the school jazz band. He later graduated from UCLA with a degree in mass communications in 1986, and only weeks after his graduation, decided to make a go of becoming a professional musician. Squeeze (band)
Squeeze are an English rock band that came to prominence in the United Kingdom during the new wave period of the late 1970s, and continued recording in the 1980s, 1990s and 2010s. In the UK, their singles " Cool for Cats", "Up the Junction", and " Labelled with Love" were top-ten chart hits; "Pulling Mussels" only made it to 44 in the UK charts. Though not as commercially successful in the United States, Squeeze had American hits with " Tempted", " Black Coffee in Bed", and "Hourglass", and were considered a part of the Second British Invasion.
