Margo Rae Price (born April 15, 1983) is an American country singer-songwriter and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. ''The Fader'' has called her "country's next star." Her debut solo album '' Midwest Farmer's Daughter'' was released on Third Man Records on March 25, 2016. The album was recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, and was engineered by Matt Ross-Spang. The album was recorded in three days. On tour, she is backed by her band ''the Pricetags''. In December 2018, Price received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Career Price grew up in the small town of Aledo, Illinois, where she played piano and sang in church choir before studying dance and theater at Northern Illinois University. Aledo, Illinois
Aledo (u--doh) is a city in Mercer County, Illinois, United States. The population was 3,640 at the 2010 census, up from 3,613 in 2000. It is the county seat of Mercer County. History Aledo was established in the 1850s when the railroad was extended to that point. It was briefly named DeSoto, after Hernando de Soto, until the discovery of an identically named village in Jackson County, Illinois. The album was planned for release on May 8, 2020, by Loma Vista Recordings, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album was produced by Sturgill Simpson, with David R. Ferguson and Price serving as co-producers on the album with Simpson. The album was released on July 10, 2020. On April 22, 2022, a deluxe version of the album was released with 8 bonus tracks. Price was also scheduled to tour in promotion of the album, with some dates in support of Chris Stapleton's 2020 " All-American Road Show Tour," but those were also postponed. ''All American Made'' is the second studio album by American country musician Margo Price. The album was released on October 20, 2017, by Third Man Records. In November 2017, the album debuted at number 89 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The album reached #1 in the Official Country Artists Chart in its third week of release in the UK. In interviews for the album's release, Price noted the influence of Tom Petty on her songwriting. She dedicated the album to him following his death in early October 2017. Aaron Lee Tasjan (born August 24, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Tasjan is reported to have his own distinct version of "indie folk grit." Garret Woodward of the Smoky Mountain News says, "Tasjan's words are soaked in spilled whiskey, misunderstood tears and dusty memories. Each number seeps into the cracks of your troubled soul." Biography Tasjan was born in Wilmington, Delaware.
