Margarito Teves
Margarito "Gary" Bustaliño Teves (born August 1, 1943) is a Filipino politician who served as Secretary of the Department of Finance of the Philippines. He was appointed to the position in July 2005 by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, following a mass resignation of her economic team. In January 2009 he was named "Best Finance Minister" in Asia, a title given by London-based international finance magazine, The Banker. Life and education Teves was born in Barangay Sangkol, Municipality of Dipolog (now Dipolog City), Province of Zamboanga (now a part of Zamboanga del Norte) to Herminio Teves and Narcisa Bustaliño. Dipolog City
Dipolog, officially the City of Dipolog ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Dipolog; Subanen: ''Gembagel G'benwa Dipuleg/Bagbenwa Dipuleg''; Chavacano: ''Ciudad de Dipolog''; fil, Lungsod ng Dipolog), is a 3rd class component city and capital of the province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. Juanita Amatong ( Dy; born March 23, 1935) is a Filipino banker, educator, and former public servant. She previously served as member of the Monetary Board of the Philippines, a policy-making body of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines), and former Secretary of Finance in the Gloria Macapagal Arroyo administration.
