Margarita García Flores
Margarita García Flores ( Monterrey, Nuevo León, 4 July 1922 – Mexico City, 10 September 2009) was a Mexican lawyer, activist, writer and politician; she was also involved in women's suffrage. García cofounded ''Fem'' magazine with Alaíde Foppa in 1976; it was the first Latin American feminist magazine. Monterrey ( , ) is the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León, Mexico, and the third largest city in Mexico behind Guadalajara and Mexico City.
