Norway In The Eurovision Song Contest 2013
Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. The Norwegian entry was selected through the national selection "Melodi Grand Prix 2013", organised by the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). Margaret Berger represented Norway with the song " I Feed You My Love", which qualified from the second semi-final of the competition and placed 4th in the final with 191 points. Before Eurovision Melodi Grand Prix 2013 ''Melodi Grand Prix 2013'' was the 51st edition of the Norwegian national final ''Melodi Grand Prix'' and selected Norway's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. DumDum Boys are a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. Anneli Marian Drecker (born 12 February 1969, in Tromsø, Norway) is a Norwegian singer and actress from the city of Tromsø. She is the frontwoman for the dream pop band Bel Canto. Kjartan Salvesen (born 17 October 1976 in Sandnes) is the winner of the second season of Norwegian version of Idol by 840.000 votes, the highest number for any participant on the show. Maria Haukaas Mittet (née Storeng, born 3 August 1979) also known as simply Maria is a Norwegian recording artist.
