Marga Prohens
Margalida Prohens Rigo (born 24 May 1982) is a Spanish People's Party (PP) politician. She served in the Parliament of the Balearic Islands from 2011 to 2019, and the Congress of Deputies. In 2021, she became president of the People's Party of the Balearic Islands, winning the 2023 Balearic regional election and becoming President of the Balearic Islands. Biography Born in Campos, Mallorca, Prohens graduated in Translation and Interpretation from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She joined the New Generations of the People's Party in 2005. Elected to the Parliament of the Balearic Islands in 2011, she served as the PP spokesperson within it from 2015 until Biel Company took over in 2018. 2011 Balearic Regional Election
The 2011 Balearic regional election was held on Sunday, 22 May 2011, to elect the 8th Parliament of the Balearic Islands, Parliament of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The speaker of a deliberative assembly, especially a legislative body, is its presiding officer, or the chair. The title was first used in 1377 in England. Usage The title was first recorded in 1377 to describe the role of Thomas de Hungerford in the Parliament of England.Lee Vol 28, pp. 257,258. The speaker's official role is to moderate debate, make rulings on procedure, announce the results of votes, and the like. Alberto Núñez Feijóo (; ; born 10 September 1961) is a Spanish People's Party politician. He currently serves as senator from Galicia and as president of the People's Party. He served as the president of the Regional Government of Galicia from 2009 to 2022. Feijóo is described by the media as a sober, centrist politician. Formerly a civil servant, Feijóo was secretary general of Galicia's ministries of agriculture and health before moving to the same role at the national Ministry of Health, and for three years he was President of the State Society of Mail and Telegraphs. Pablo Casado Blanco (; born 1 February 1981) is a Spanish former politician. He was a member of the Congress of Deputies representing Madrid until 4 April 2022, having previously represented Ávila between 2011 and 2019.
