B. Vijaya Reddy (15 July 1936 – 9 October 2020), better known as Vijay Reddy or Vijay, was an Indian film director who worked primarily in Kannada cinema with over 50 movies to his credit. His debut directorial venture was ''Rangamahal Rahasya'' (1970). He was known for his collaborations with leading Kannada actor Rajkumar for movies like ''Gandhada Gudi'' (1973), '' ''Mayura'' '' (1975), ''Naa Ninna Mareyalare'' (1976) and ''Sanaadi Appanna'' (1977) which are considered among the classic movies of Kannada cinema. Early life Reddy was born in Tadepalligudem in the West Godavari district of Madras Presidency in British India to a farming family. He subsequently went to Madras (now Chennai) to look for work. Sampath Kumar (18 September 1950 – 30 December 2009), known by his stage name Vishnuvardhan, was an Indian actor predominantly in Kannada cinema. He is regarded as one of the popular cultural icon of Karnataka. Vishnuvardhan is often referred to as ''Sahasa Simha'' and ''The Angry Young Man of Kannada Cinema.'' Geetha (actress)
Geetha Kadambee (born 14 July 1962) is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. She debuted in the Tamil film ''Bairavi'' (as Rajinikanth's sister). Since then she has acted in over 200 films in all major South Indian languages, and in a few Hindi films. She also appears in South Indian television serials. Geetha has won two Filmfare Awards South and a Karnataka State Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards each. Dheerendra Gopal
Gopal Rao, known by his stage name Dheerendra Gopal, was an Indian film and stage actor known for his work in Kannada films. He acted in over 350 films and was predominantly recognized for his performances in villainous and comic roles. After making his film debut with ''Subhadra Kalyana'' (1972), he received recognition for his performance in Puttanna Kanagal's '' Paduvaaralli Pandavaru'' (1978). Career Dheerendra Gopal was noticed at a young age by Gubbi Veeranna. Gubbi Veeranna saw him solo act at a school and was impressed with his performance and invited him to be part of his company. Shankar–Ganesh
Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967. Kannadhasan started his own film Titled "Nagarathil Thirudargal" in which he introduced Shankar Ganesh as music directors. The film was stopped, so Kannadhasan took them to Chinnappa Devar and requested him to give them a chance. Rajanand
Venkataraju known by his professional name Rajanand (1927-2004), was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. Some of the notable films of Rajanand as an actor include ''Operation Diamond Racket'' (1978), '' Mayura'' (1975), and '' Eradu Kanasu'' (1974).
