Marek Bakoš
Marek Bakoš (; born 15 April 1983) is a former Slovak footballer who played as a forward. Club career Bakoš made his first football steps in his hometown club ŠK Nová Baňa. When he was 15 he moved to Nitra where he made his debut at senior level. After 5 seasons in Nitra he was transferred to Matador Púchov in July 2003. In his first season for Púchov he scored 9 goals and 8 goals in the next season. In January 2006, he signed for the Russian Premier League club Shinnik. He played only 2 matches in his first Shinnik season. The club ended last in the 2006 season and was relegated to the First Division. There he scored 3 goals in 20 matches and then came back on Slovakia, signing for Ružomberok in July 2007. He scored 16 goals for two seasons in Ružomberok. Nová Baňa
Nová Baňa (german: Königsberg; hu, Újbánya) is a small town in the west of central Slovakia and the largest town of the Žarnovica District, located in the Banská Bystrica Region. Etymology The original name of Nová Baňa was Štiavnica - derived from the still existing spring water ( sk, šťava, štiavnica resp. ščevnica - "acid water"). The town was first mentioned as ''nova montanya Schewnyche'' (1337). The Slovak name was adopted also by German colonists (Schennych, Sewniche). 2006 Russian Premier League
The 2006 Russian Premier League was the 55th season of the premier football competition in Russia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the 5th under the current Russian Premier League name. The season started on 17 March 2006 and ended on 26 November 2006. Defending champions CSKA Moscow claimed their second successive title on 18 November 2006 with an away win over Luch-Energiya Vladivostok. Spartak Moscow finished runners-up, level on points with CSKA but ranked behind due to fewer wins (see Tie-breaking criteria below). Lokomotiv Moscow finished third. The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic.
