Mar del Plata is a city on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the seat of General Pueyrredón district. Mar del Plata is the second largest city in Buenos Aires Province. Adam Mardel is an American pop singer best known for his work with Second Alibi and for founding the record label E2A Music Group, LLC. Career Adam was an opening act on Aaron Carter's After Party Tour in 2013. In the spring of 2017 Adam launched a concert series called "E2A Presents" to feature bands and artists of different genres. In a 2020 interview on WGN (AM) with Paul Lisnek Adam announced that he is working on a memoir and new music. Adam announced in a 2023 interview that he was re-releasing Second Alibi's records and was in the beginning stages of a charity compilation album. Carlos Mardel
Carlos Mardel (born Martell Károly; Bratislava, Pressburg; c. 1695 - Lisbon; 8 September 1763) was a Hungarian people, Hungarian-Portuguese people, Portuguese military officer, engineer, and architect. Mardel is primarily remembered for his role in the reconstruction effort after the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. Career Carlos Mardel was born ''Martell Károly'', in Pressburg (now Bratislava), then in the Kingdom of Hungary, around 1695. He served in the militaries of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Kingdom of Great Britain. Mardel first came to Portugal in 1733, as a sergeant-major of engineering for a Portuguese infantry. By 1735, Mardel had become the managing architect of the Águas Livres Aqueduct. In this project, he personally designed and oversaw the construction of the Amoreiras Monumental Arch and the Mãe d'Água Water Reserve. Guy Mardel
Guy Mardel (, born Mardochée Elkoubi; 30 June 1944, in Oran, French Algeria) is a French singer, best known for his participation in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest. Mardel lived his first 15 years in Algeria before moving to France in 1959. He later enrolled in law school, while singing recreationally with a jazz band. He signed a contract with AZ Records in 1963 and released two singles before being chosen internally by channel ORTF in 1965 to represent France in that year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song " N'avoue jamais" ("Never admit"). At the contest, held in Naples on 20 March, "N'avoue jamais" finished in third place of the 18 entries. Mardel was unable to capitalise on his Eurovision success, despite releasing many singles until the 1980s. In the 1970s he moved into record production, setting up his own record label, MM, in 1977.
