Marcus Weathers
Marcus Weathers (born August 5, 1997) is an American basketball player for Mornar of the Adriatic League and the Prva A Liga. He played college basketball for the Miami RedHawks, Duquesne University for about three seasons, and spent his last year of eligibility at SMU Mustangs. Collegiate career SMU Mustangs (2021–2022) As Marcus and his twin brother, Michael, were reunited for almost quite some time, they both believed that this was not the plan they had in mind since they are seriously considering to commence workouts for the NBA G-League. In their first game back together with his twin brother, Marcus dropped 11 points and 7 rebounds in a 86–62 victory over the McNeese State Cowboys. NBA G-League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. Drake Bulldogs Men's Basketball
The Drake Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Drake University, located in Des Moines, Iowa, in NCAA Division I basketball competition and is coached by Darian DeVries. The program is best known for making the 1969 Final Four. History The early years (1906–1959) The first season Drake fielded a men's basketball team was 1906–07. The Bulldogs finished with a 2–1 record as an independent. The next year, during the 1907–08 season, they were charter members of the Missouri Valley Conference. Drake went on to dominate the 1930s, winning three conference titles in the decade (1934–35, 1935–36, and 1938–39). Michael Weathers
Michael Weathers (born August 5, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Klosterneuburg Dukes of the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. He played college basketball for the Miami RedHawks, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Texas Southern Tigers and SMU Mustangs. Early life and high school career Weathers was born to Michael Weathers and Joann Loring. He has a fraternal twin brother, Marcus, who was born three minutes after him. Weathers' father played college basketball for the Drake Bulldogs. When Weathers was aged five, his father died of heart problems at the age of 40.
