Marcus Velado-Tsegaye
Marcus Velado-Tsegaye (born 1 July 2001) is a professional soccer player who plays for Scrosoppi FC in League1 Ontario. Born in Canada, he represented El Salvador at youth international level. Early life Velado-Tsegaye began playing soccer at age five with Edmonton Xtreme FC, later playing with the Edmonton Drillers SC and Edmonton Victoria SC. In 2016, he joined the FC Edmonton Academy. In 2018, he won the EDSA Premier Division double with the academy and scored eleven goals, finishing third among the league's top scorers. Club career In February 2019, Velado-Tsegaye signed his first professional contract with Edmonton ahead of the side's inaugural season in the Canadian Premier League. Loudoun United FC is an American professional soccer team based in Leesburg, Virginia. The team was founded in 2018 as the reserve team of D.C. United and made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019. History On July 18, 2018, the team was officially announced by USL and D.C. United as were the team's name, colors and crest. 2023 League1 Ontario Season
The 2023 Men's League1 Ontario season was the ninth of League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Following the 2023 season, the league will split into three divisions with promotion and relegation between them. Simcoe County Rovers FC were the league champions, having defeated Scrosoppi FC in the final to capture their first title. 2021 FC Edmonton Season
The 2021 FC Edmonton season was the club's tenth competitive season as well as their third in the Canadian Premier League. Overview The 2021 season was very disappointing for FC Edmonton. Edmonton's average home attendance of 961 was by far the lowest in the league, and the team finished in 7th out of 8 teams. Additionally, the club shut down its academy.
