Marcus Thuram
Marcus Lilian Thuram-Ulien (born 6 August 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward or left winger for Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach and the France national team. He is the son of former French international player Lilian Thuram. He began his professional career at Sochaux, where he played in three Ligue 2 seasons, before spending two years in Ligue 1 with Guingamp. In 2019, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach for a €12 million fee. Thuram made his senior international debut for France in 2020, and was part of their squads at UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup, finishing as runner-up at the latter. 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the 15th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (65th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual European international youth football championship contested by the men's under-19 national teams of UEFA member associations. Germany, which were selected by UEFA on 20 March 2012, hosted the tournament between 11 and 24 July 2016. A total of eight teams competed in the final tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 1997 eligible to participate. Same as previous editions held in even-numbered years, the tournament acted as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in France, French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel.
