Marcus E. Smith (born February 7, 1984) is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. He also was a member of the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League and the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League. He played college football at Arizona. Early years Smith attended Mission Bay High School. As a junior, he received All-league honors. As a senior defensive end, he tallied 90 tackles, 10 sacks, 2 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles and returned a fumble 96 yards for a touchdown (CIF-San Diego record). He received All-league, All-San Diego area, San Diego Union Tribune All-county, Prep Football Report All-West and SuperPrep All-Farwest honors. He made the San Diego Union Tribune All-academic team for 3 years. In basketball, he received All-league honors as a junior. He averaged 17 points and 16 rebounds per game as a senior. Marcus Smith (rugby Union)
Marcus Sebastian Smith (born 14 February 1999) is an English professional rugby union player who primarily plays fly-half for Harlequins in the Gallagher Premiership. He has also represented England at international level, having made his test debut against the United States in 2021. Background Born in the Philippines to a British father and a Filipina mother, Smith started playing rugby union at the age of seven for Centaurs RFC when his family moved to Singapore. He moved to the United Kingdom at the age of thirteen and subsequently received a sports scholarship to attend Brighton College, where he captained the school's 1st XV. Marcus Anthony Smith (born January 11, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Smith was released by Baltimore during final cuts on September 3, 2011. He played college football at New Mexico. Early years Smith prepped at Morse High School in San Diego. Marcus Smith II (born March 31, 1992) is a former American football outside linebacker. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, and played college football at Louisville. High school Smith attended Hardaway High School in Columbus, Georgia. He played quarterback for Hardaway, passing for more than 1,800 yards and 14 touchdowns, while adding 227 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Marcus Smith (judge)
Sir Marcus Alexander Smith (born 1 July 1967) is a British High Court judge. Personal life and education Smith was educated at Balliol College, Oxford, completing a BA in 1988 and a BCL in 1990. He also attended the University of Munich. In 1998, he married Louise Merrett, with whom he has one son and one daughter. Career He was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1991 and practised commercial and regulatory law from Fountain Court Chambers, where he also completed his pupillage. From 1991 to 1994, he was a lecturer in law at Balliol. In addition to practice, he wrote two textbooks: ''Private International Law of Reinsurance and Insurance'' with Raymond Cox QC and Louise Merrett (2006) and ''The Law of Assignment'' with Nico Leslie (2007, 3rd edition 2018).
