Marcus Smith (American Football Wide Receiver)
Marcus Anthony Smith (born January 11, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Smith was released by Baltimore during final cuts on September 3, 2011. He played college football at New Mexico. Early years Smith prepped at Morse High School in San Diego. College career Smith played college football at the University of New Mexico and graduated in 2008. He was first-team Mountain West Conference for 2007. Arena Football League
The Arena Football League (AFL) was a professional arena football league in the United States. Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. This name is fitting because the ACL crosses the posterior cruciate ligament to form an “X”. It is composed of strong, fibrous material and assists in controlling excessive motion. The 2007 New Mexico Lobos football team represented The University of New Mexico during the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Rocky Long.
