Marcus Seecamp
Marcus Seecamp (born 27 July 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1990s. Seecamp was a defender, used mostly across half back. Fitzroy picked him up from Western Australian Football League team East Perth with the second pick of the 1991 AFL draft, behind John Hutton. Seecamp spent three years at Fitzroy before they traded him to Melbourne at the end of the 1994 AFL season, gaining Martin Pike as a result. Over the course of his career, Seecamp was chosen in the Western Australian State of Origin team on three occasions. His 100th AFL appearance, in 1997, proved to be memorable for the wrong reasons, with Mark Bayes and Tony Lockett kicking six goals each to help Sydney defeat Melbourne by 116 points at the MCG. East Perth Football Club
The East Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Royals, is an Australian rules football club based in Leederville, Western Australia, current playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Formed in 1902 as the Union Football Club, the club entered the WAFL in 1906, changing its name to East Perth. It won its first premiership in 1919, part of a streak of five consecutive premierships. Overall, the club has won 17 premierships, most recently in 2002. AFL Canberra is the name of the local governing body for and premier competition of Australian rules football in the Australian Capital Territory (and the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales). It acts as an umbrella to several competitions beneath it. These competitions are Seniors First Grade, Seniors Second Grade, Thirds, Fourths and a Rising Stars League. Ainslie Football Club
Ainslie Football Club is a semi-professional Australian rules football club based in Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. The club formed in 1927 and won its first premiership in 1929. Ex- St Kilda star Kevin Neale was captain-coach for six seasons (1978–1983), during which time Ainslie won four premierships: 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983. In 1984 Ex-Collingwood and Richmond player Rod Oborne captain-coached the club, winning the 1984 premiership. The club was also coached by former VFL/AFL great David Cloke. Chris Rourke coached Ainslie for 14 years from 2007-2020 taking the club to six premierships during that period.
