Marcus Nash
Marcus DeLando Nash (born February 1, 1976) is a retired American football wide receiver, formerly of the Dallas Desperados of the Arena Football League. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos 30th overall in the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee. Nash has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Fury and Las Vegas Gladiators. Professional career Denver Broncos Nash was drafted by the Broncos in the first round (30th overall) of the 1998 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he appeared in eight games and caught four passes for 76 yards. In 1999, Nash appeared in two games for the Broncos including one start, but recorded no statistics. Miami Dolphins On September 21, 1999, Nash was traded to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for running back John Avery - another 1998 first-rounder. The New York Dragons were a professional arena football team based in the New York metropolitan area. The Dragons participated in the Arena Football League's (AFL) National Conference as a member of the Eastern Division. The team was founded in as the original iteration of the Iowa Barnstormers, and relocated to New York in . They played in New York until 2008, when the league folded. John Edward Avery, Jr. (born January 11, 1976) is a former professional Canadian football and American football player. He last played with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, but also played with the National Football League (Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings) and the XFL (2001), XFL (Chicago Enforcers).
