Marcos Paullo
Marcos Paullo Barcelos Peixoto (born March 28, 1990), known as just Marcos Paullo, is a Brazilian footballer. Club career Brazil Marcos Paullo began his career in the youth ranks of Goiás EC. He started his career as a left back but his attacking skills led to him being converted to an attacking midfielder, playing primarily as a left winger. He began to impress with the Goiás Under-17 side. In 2008, he moved up to the Under-18 side and helped Goiás capture the Campeonato Goiano Sub-18, scoring his club's second goal in a 3-1 victory over local rival Vila Nova. In 2009, he moved up the Under-20 side and played in the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 and the Copa São Paulo de Juniores. Itumbiara Esporte Clube
Itumbiara Esporte Clube, usually known simply as Itumbiara, is a Brazilian football club from Itumbiara, Goiás state. The club competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 1979 and won the state championship in 2008. History On March 9, 1970, Itumbiara Esporte Clube was founded, as a result of the merger of local teams ''Goiás'' (founded in 1964) and ''Nacional'' (founded in 1952). In 1979, Itumbiara competed in the top level of the Brazilian Championship, finishing in the 64th position. In 2008, Itumbiara won the state championship for the first time, after beating Goiás 1–0 and 3–0 in the final. In 2010, Itumbiara finished state championship on 9th and penultimate place and were relegated to second level. The Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 is the official Brazilian national football tournament for U-20 teams. The Rio Grande do Sul Football Association (FGF) created the competition in 2006 and since 2015 it is organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Participating teams The first edition was played in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, contested by 30 clubs – the 20 clubs currently playing in the Campeonato Brasileiro plus 10 qualified from the federation's national ranking. Since 2007, only clubs participating in the same season's Série A are invited to participate in the Sub-20, unless one of the invited teams decide not to participate.
