Marcos Hummel (born July 25, 1947) is a Brazilian television anchor, employed by national television station ''Rede Record''. Biography Marcos Hummel was born in Catalão, state of Goias, Brazil. He started his career on Tele Journalism on June 22, 1975, in Brasilia when he was 28 years old. He currently works for Rede Record. Before joining TV Record, Hummel worked for 21 years in Rede Globo's news reports " Jornal Hoje", "Jornal Nacional", " Jornal da Globo", "Fantástico", "Globo Esporte", "Bom Dia Rio" and "Bom Dia São Paulo" and has served also as the publisher and editor. He was one of the first presenters of "Video Show". Also presented for three years the festivals "MPB80" and "MPB Shell", between the years 1980 and 1983 together with Cristiane Torloni, Miriam Rios, Luis Carlos Miele and Hilton Gomes. Miriam Rios
Miriam ( he, מִרְיָם ''Mīryām'', lit. 'Rebellion') is described in the Hebrew Bible as the daughter of Amram and Jochebed, and the older sister of Moses and Aaron. Record News
Record News (formerly known as Rede Mulher) is the first 24-hour free-to-air terrestrial news channel in Brazil, and the third Brazilian news channel to be launched after GloboNews and BandNews TV. It is owned by RecordTV. History In 1953, TV Record started as the second Brazilian TV channel (the first was the extinct Rede Tupi). As the network celebrated its 54th anniversary, a new channel has been launched. This is the first Brazilian free-to-air and terrestrial news channel. Rede 21 (Portuguese for ''21 Network'') is a Brazilian television network, launched on October 21, 1996 (relaunched on July 7, 2008), as Canal 21, broadcasting only for São Paulo. It grew to a network in 2003 with the addition of the TV Brasília affiliation. Before this, Salvador and Macapá pass to have the 21 signal. In 2003, Rio de Janeiro received the 21 on channel 54 UHF by retransmission, but shut down at the end of 2005. In 2005, the network nationally broadcast five hours, from 7pm to 12am, but had good quality. Rede Bandeirantes
Rede Bandeirantes (, ''Bandeirantes Network''), or simply known as Band (), is a Brazilian free-to-air television network. It began broadcasting on May 13, 1967 on VHF channel 13 in São Paulo. Its founder was businessman João Saad with the help of his father-in-law and former São Paulo governor Adhemar de Barros. Rede Manchete (; lit.: Headline Network; also known as TV Manchete or only Manchete) was a Brazilian television network that was founded in Rio de Janeiro on 5 June 1983 by the Ukrainian-Brazilian journalist and businessman Adolpho Bloch.
