Marcos Camozzato
Marcos Camozzato (born June 17, 1983 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul) is a retired Brazilian footballer who last played for Roeselare in the Belgian Second Division. Career He started in the youth categories of Internacional, known only by his first name, Marcos. Inter's president at the time, Fernando Carvalho, suggested the change to only Camozzatto, the surname of his Italian origins, because it could be more attractive for the European leagues, where the boy could get dual citizenship (in a similar case of his fellows from Inter's youth team, Rafael Sobis and Marcelo Labarthe – differently from them, he would be known only by his surname). On 16 June 2010, Club Brugge signed the Brazilian right-back from League rival Standard Liège on a three-year contract. The Belgian Super Cup ( nl, Belgische Supercup, ; french: Supercoupe de Belgique; german: Belgischer Fußball-Super Cup), ''Pro League Supercup'', is a Belgian club competition played as a single match between the Belgian First Division A champions (also received the Super Cup host) and the Belgian Cup winners. If both teams are the same, the Belgian Cup runners-up participates as the second club. 2008–09 Belgian First Division
The 2008–09 season of the Belgian First Division (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the 106th season of top-tier football in Belgium. The regular season began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 16 May 2009. Standard Liège were the defending champions. On 19 April 2009, Mons were relegated after Dender beat Roeselare 3–1 and made it mathematically impossible for Mons to climb into 16th position or higher. Tubize were relegated on 3 May 2009 after a 1–1 draw at home to Anderlecht. The 2008–09 champions were decided in a playoff because Standard and Anderlecht finished the regular season equal on points and number of wins. Standard won the playoff by 2–1 on aggregate and thereby retained the title.
