Marco Rossi (born 9 September 1964) is an Italian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of the Hungary national football team. Managerial career Budapest Honvéd On 28 April 2014, Rossi resigned as the coach of Budapesti Honvéd FC. On 7 February 2015, Rossi was appointed as the coach of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Budapest Honvéd FC for the second time in his career. Although Budapest Honvéd FC was not the most financially stable club of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, Rossi won the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I after securing their trophy against their rival Videoton FC in the last round of the season. He played most of his 18-year professional career with Genoa, appearing in nearly 300 official games during nine seasons, six spent in Serie A. Club career Early years Born in Seravezza, in the Province of Lucca, Rossi started playing football with Lucchese in Serie B, moving for the 1998–99 campaign to Salernitana, newly promoted to Serie A. Marco Rossi (; born 30 September 1987) is an Italian association footballer who plays as a defender. Club career In July 2009, Parma exchanged Rossi with Antonio Mirante of Sampdoria, signing a season-long loan. On 24 June 2011, he was signed by Cesena in a co-ownership deal for €2 million after he spent a year with Bari. After the deal, Alberto Galuppo returned to Parma in July 2011 for €1 million. In June 2012 the co-ownership was renewed. However, due to Rossi's involvement in the 2011 Italian football scandal, Parma gave up the remaining 50% registration rights for free. Marco Rossi (born 23 September 2001) is an Austrian professional ice hockey player for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). Rossi grew up in Austria and moved to Switzerland in 2011 to further his career. He spent several years there, making his professional debut in 2018 with the GCK Lions of the Swiss League, the second tier of hockey in Switzerland. In 2018 he moved to North America and spent two seasons with the Ottawa 67's of the junior Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
