Marco Paulo Rebelo Lopes
Marco Paulo Rebelo Lopes (born 6 June 1976), known as Marco Paulo, is an Angolan retired footballer who played as a forward. Club career Marco Paulo was born in Luanda. He made his senior debut with F.C. Alverca in the Segunda Liga as they acted as S.L. Benfica's farm team, and subsequently moved to the lower leagues where he represented three clubs, helping G.D. Estoril Praia return to the second tier at the end of the 2002–03 season with a career-best 16 goals in 35 games. Marco Paulo then moved abroad, where he would appear for Stade Lavallois (France, Ligue 2) and Ionikos FC ( Super League Greece). He had his only top-flight experience with the latter, playing less than one third of the matches and with his side finishing in last position; he retired from football in June 2007, aged 31. Marco Paulo Faria de Lemos (born 28 May 1973), known as Marco Paulo, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a central midfielder, currently a manager. Playing career Born in Sintra, Lisbon metropolitan area, Marco Paulo spent seven of his first eight years as a senior with local G.D. Estoril Praia, playing his first two seasons in the Primeira Liga and a further five in the Segunda Liga. After two years with F.C. Paços de Ferreira, one in each major level, he returned to the capital and joined C.F. Os Belenenses. Marco Paulo was regularly used in his four-season spell at the Estádio do Restelo, inclusively serving as team captain. Aged 32, he returned to the second division and Estoril, acting as interim player-coach for five games and achieving only one draw, after which he returned to the top flight with C.F. Marco Paulo da Silva Soares (born 16 June 1984) is a professional footballer who plays for Portuguese club Florgrade FC as a defensive midfielder. He spent most of his career in Portugal and Cyprus, making 60 Primeira Liga appearances for União de Leiria, Feirense and Arouca in the former and representing Omonia and AEL Limassol in the latter's First Division. Soares earned 52 caps for Cape Verde from 2006, playing at the 2013 and 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Club career Born in Setúbal, Portugal, Soares started playing professionally with F.C. Marco Paulo Coimbra de Abreu (born 8 December 1974) is an Angolan retired footballer who played as a left back. Football career Abreu was born in Lubango, Huíla Province, to a White African-Portuguese family. He left for Portugal at the age of two and, during his professional career, represented Académico de Viseu FC, C.F. União, C.D. Trofense, Varzim SC, S.C. Covilhã, A.D. Ovarense, S.C. Olhanense, Portimonense S.C. and S.C.
