Marcello Violi
Marcello Violi (born 11 October 1993) is an Italian rugby union player. His usual position is as a Scrum-half, and he currently plays for Valorugby Emilia. Under contract with Calvisano, for 2014–15 Pro12 season, he named like ''Permit Player'' for Zebre in Pro 14. He played with Zebre from 2015 to 2022. After playing for Italy Under 20 in 2012 and 2013, in 2014 he also was named in the Emerging Italy squad. In January 2015, Violi was named in the Italian squad for the 2015 Six Nations Championship. On 24 August 2015, he was named in the final 31-man squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Parma

The Italy national rugby union team (Italian: ''Squadra nazionale italiana di rugby'') represents Italy in men's international rugby union. The team is known as ''gli Azzurri'' (the light-blues). Savoy blue is the common colour of the national teams representing Italy, as it is the traditional colour of the royal House of Savoy which reigned over the Kingdom of Italy from 1860 to 1946. Italy has played international rugby since 1929, and for decades was considered one of the best European teams outside the Five Nations Championship. The 2021 end of year rugby union tests, also referred to as the Autumn internationals in the Northern Hemisphere, were rugby union test matches during October and November 2021, mainly involving countries from the Northern Hemisphere hosting those from the Southern Hemisphere. Alessandro Troncon
Alessandro Troncon (born 6 September 1973 in Treviso) is a former Italian rugby union player. Troncon is the 6th most capped player in Italian rugby union history, and the first Italian to gain 100 caps. The veteran scrum-half made his Italy debut against Spain (62–15) in 1994 and has played alongside fly-half Diego Dominguez on more than 50 occasions. He suffered a serious knee injury after the 2003 World Cup which forced him to miss the entire 2004 Six Nations, and to lose the captaincy for his national team. Troncon spent two years at French side Montferrand before returning to Treviso. In 2007 Troncon was named man of the match as he scored a try in Italy's first overseas victory at Murrayfield against Scotland (37–17) in the 2007 Six Nations. 2021–22 United Rugby Championship
The 2021–22 United Rugby Championship was the twenty-first season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League. It was the first season that the competition is referred to as the United Rugby Championship, having previously been known as the Pro14.
