Marc-André "Marco" Zoro Kpolo (born 27 December 1983) is an Ivorian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender. Club career Born in Abidjan, Zoro started his career in Italy, first with U.S. Salernitana 1919, without however making his Serie A debut. The next season, he played with the Campania team in the Serie B, second division and, in January 2003, he joined Sicily's A.C.R. Messina, F.C. Messina Peloro, helping them 2002–03 Serie B, achieve promotion in June; the club eventually signed him permanently, on a three-year deal. Several months prior to the expiration of Zoro's deal with Messina, he and his agent Francis Kacou had been locked in talks for a contract extension. The Ivory Coast national football team ( French: ''Équipe de football de Côte d'Ivoire'', recognized as the Côte d'Ivoire by FIFA) represents Ivory Coast in men's international football.
