Marc Sumerak
Marc Sumerak (born 1978 in Solon, Ohio) is a freelance comic book writer from Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and worked as an editor at Marvel Comics before becoming a freelance writer. His credits include work on ''Avengers'', ''Thor'', ''Iron Man'', ''Fantastic Four'', ''Black Panther'', '' Captain Marvel'', '' Thunderbolts'', ''Hulk'', ''Sentinel'', '' Agent X'' and many more. He was a member of the Marvel editorial team from 1999 to 2003, working alongside editor Tom Brevoort. He is known for his work on Marvel Comics' all-ages ''Power Pack'' series (of which he has written seven consecutive 4-issue limited series), as well as the Eisner Award & Harvey Award nominated '' Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius'' (with co-writer Chris Eliopoulos). Solon ( ) is a city in southeastern Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. A suburb of Cleveland, it is part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. Harvey Award
The Harvey Awards are given for achievement in comic books. Named for writer-artist Harvey Kurtzman, the Harvey Awards were founded by Gary Groth in 1988, president of the publisher Fantagraphics, to be the successor to the Kirby Awards that were discontinued in 1987. The Harvey Awards are now nominated by the Harvey Awards Nomination Committee. The winners are selected by an open vote among comic-book professionals. The Harveys are no longer affiliated with Fantagraphics. The Harvey Awards Executive Committee is made up of unpaid volunteers, and the Awards are financed through sponsorships. Aurora, Ohio
Aurora is a city in Portage County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, and is co-extensive with, and formed from, the former township of Aurora, which was formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve.
