Mark Mitchell (American Figure Skater)
Mark Mitchell (born May 2, 1968) is an American retired competitive figure skater. He is a three-time medalist at the United States Figure Skating Championships and placed as high as fourth at the World Figure Skating Championships (in 1993). He currently works as a coach and choreographer in Boston with Peter Johansson. Biography Skating career Mitchell was the 1986 U.S. Junior National Champion. He won the bronze medal at the 1990 United States Figure Skating Championships, but was not named to the World team, despite the U.S. having three spots to that competition. Instead, a medical bye was given to Christopher Bowman who withdrew from the competition with a back injury. Mitchell finished 4th at the 1991 United States Figure Skating Championships, again just missing a spot on the World team. Mark Mitchell (born 29 September 1954) is an Australian actor, comedian and contemporary artist, best known for his character Con the Fruiterer. Early life Mark Mitchell was born in Melbourne. He studied English and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and then completed a Diploma of Education at State College of Victoria Rusden Campus (now part of Deakin University). He taught secondary school (Ararat high school) English for five years before becoming an advertising copy-writer and then a professional actor. Career Mitchell starred in the pioneering sketch comedy show ''The Eleventh Hour'', a predecessor to his hit sketch show ''The Comedy Company''. Mark Mitchell (May 16, 1934 – October 26, 2011) was an American architect and politician. Born in London, England, Mitchell moved with his family to Ireland during World War II and then to the United States after the war. In 1956, Mitchell graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in the History of Art. He then served in the United States Army. Mitchell received his degree in architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1962. He practiced architecture in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mitchell moved to Barnard, Vermont and continued to practice architecture. From 2007 until his resignation in 2011, Mitchell served in the Vermont House of Representatives and was a Democrat. Mark A. Mitchell is the director of the Applied Concepts Laboratory at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, a position he has held since 2013. Mark Patrick Mitchell (born 22 May 1968) is a New Zealand politician and a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives. He is a member of the National Party. Early life and career Mitchell was born on Auckland's North Shore and lived his early years at Whenuapai air base, where his father was a flight lieutenant flying Orion aircraft and his mother's father, Air Commodore Frank Gill, was the base commander.
