Marc McAusland
Marc McAusland (born 13 September 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Icelandic club Njarðvík. McAusland has had two spells with his local side St Mirren, and has also played for Queen of the South, Dunfermline Athletic, Keflavík, Grindavík, as well as briefly being on loan with Stranraer. Career St Mirren McAusland, nicknamed 'Cheesy' started his career with St Mirren as a youth player. On 20 October 2006 he left on a one-month loan to Stranraer and made his senior debut against Greenock Morton the next day. McAusland made his "Saints" senior debut coming on as a substitute during a 2–0 win against Gretna on 29 March 2008. However, by the end of the 2008–09 season, he had only played a handful of games for the club. Scottish League One
The Scottish League One, known as cinch League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League One was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Format Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. At the end of each season, the club with the most points is crowned league champion. If points are equal, the goal difference determines the winner. If this still does not result in a winner, the tied teams must take part in a playoff game at a neutral venue to determine the final placings. The Úrvalsdeild karla (, Men's Select Division) is the highest men's football league in Iceland. It has been played since 1912. Because of the harsh winters in Iceland, it is generally played in the spring and summer (May to September). It is governed by the Football Association of Iceland (KSI) and has 12 teams. By end of season 2015–2016, UEFA ranked the league No. 35 in Europe. From 27 April 2009, the league has had an active agreement on the league's name rights with Ölgerðin, the Icelandic franchisee for Pepsi. Handknattleiksfélag Kópavogs (HK) or HK Iceland is an Icelandic sports club from the town of Kópavogur, mainly known for its football and handball teams. The club has a football team playing in the top tier of Icelandic football. History The club dates back to 1969, but was officially established on 26 January 1970. The Valur men's football team, commonly known as Valur, is the men's football department of the Knattspyrnufélagið Valur multi-sport club. It is based in Reykjavík, Iceland, and currently plays in the Besta deild karla, the top-tier men's football league in Iceland. The team plays it home games at Hlíðarendi located in Reykjavík. Shaun Byrne (footballer, Born 1993)
Shaun Byrne (born 9 June 1993) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Raith Rovers, on loan from Dundee. Byrne started his career as a youth player for Celtic, before moving to Dunfermline Athletic where he made over 100 competitive appearances. He then played for Livingston for three seasons, helping the team earn back-to-back promotions. Byrne then joined Dundee in 2019, and would be part of two more promotions. Cowdenbeath (; sco, Coudenbeith) is a town and burgh in west Fife, Scotland. It is north-east of Dunfermline and north of the capital, Edinburgh.
