Marc Magro
Marc Anthony Magro (born August 23, 1984) is a former American football linebacker. He was signed by the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at West Virginia. Magro has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New York Sentinels. Early life As a senior at University High School, Magro earned All-State honors as he helped lead his team to a 9-3 record and the second round of the West Virginia playoffs. He recorded 154 tackles, 28 for a loss, and five sacks in his career. He was also a baseball letterman. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Friends Of Coal Bowl
The Friends of Coal Bowl is the name given to the Marshall–West Virginia football rivalry. It is an American college football rivalry game played by the Marshall Thundering Herd football team of Marshall University and the West Virginia Mountaineers football team of the West Virginia University. The game was sponsored by the Friends of Coal, a coal industry trade group. Planned to be a seven-year series, the Friends of Coal Bowl was organized by the West Virginia Coal Association at the urging of West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin. Boo McLee
Cleo Kevin "Boo" McLee Jr. (November 24, 1983 – April 12, 2020) was an American football linebacker. He played collegiately at West Virginia University. McLee played for the St. Louis Rams of the NFL and the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. College career During high school in Uniontown, Pennsylvania (suburban Pittsburgh), McLee rushed for 1,637 yards and led the team in tackles. McLee also lettered in basketball and track. Following his uncle Billy and cousin Reggie McLee's footsteps, McLee attended West Virginia University. He was interested in Michigan State and Pittsburgh, but neither one gave him offers. The 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season was the highest level of college football competition in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Richard Alan Rodriguez (; born May 24, 1963), also known as Rich Rod, is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Jacksonville State University. Rodriguez previously was the head football coach at Salem University (1988), Glenville State College (1990–1996), West Virginia University (2001–2007), the University of Michigan (2008–2010), and the University of Arizona (2012–2017). The Georgia Bulldogs football program represents the University of Georgia in the sport of American football. The Virginia Tech Hokies football team represents Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the sport of American football. The East Carolina Pirates are a college football team that represents East Carolina University (variously "East Carolina" or "ECU").
