Marc Cholodenko (born 11 February 1950 in Paris), is a French novelist, translator, poet, screenwriter and dialoguist. Awards Cholodenko won the 1976 Prix Médicis for ''Les États du désert''. He has notably been the male dialoguist of the films by Philippe Garrel since 1988. Adam Thirlwell (born 22 August 1978) is a British novelist. His work has been translated into thirty languages. He has twice been named as one of ''Granta''s Best of Young British Novelists. In 2015 he received the E.M. Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is the London editor of ''The Paris Review''. Life Thirlwell was educated at the independent Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, Elstree. He read English at New College, Oxford, where he got the top first. Kirsten Bakis (born 1968 Switzerland) is an American novelist. Biography Bakis was raised in Westchester County, New York, and graduated from New York University in 1990. She is a recipient of a Teaching/Writing Fellowship from the University of Iowa Writer's Workshop, a grant from the Michener/Copernicus Society of America. She published her first novel, ''Lives of the Monster Dogs'', in 1997. In 2017, the novel was reissued. She has taught at Hampshire College and was a writer-in-residence at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York in 2005. She is currently living in Croton-on-Hudson, New York with her husband, their two children, and two dogs, and is at work on her second novel.
