Marc Benardout
Marc Benardout is a British film director and film producer. He is a distant relative of the American composer Irving Berlin and the French science fiction writer Jules Verne. Benardout began his film career working for director Adrian Lyne (Fatal Attraction, 9½ Weeks) at his production company Jennie & Co where he managed productions for commercial directors including John Lloyd (Blackadder). After a few years, he made the jump to directing himself and shot over 200 commercials and music videos in London and Amsterdam. In 1995, he directed a short film entitled A Little Worm about harmonica virtuoso Larry Adler which won the Best Cinematography and Best Film awards at the Barcelona Film Festival amongst other accolades. Irving Berlin
Irving Berlin (born Israel Beilin; yi, ישראל ביילין; May 11, 1888 – September 22, 1989) was a Russian-American composer, songwriter and lyricist. His music forms a large part of the Great American Songbook. Born in Imperial Russia, Berlin arrived in the United States at the age of five. He published his first song, "Marie from Sunny Italy", in 1907, receiving 33 cents for the publishing rights,Starr, Larry and Waterman, Christopher, American Popular Music: From Minstrelsy to MP3, Oxford University Press, 2009, pg. 64 and had his first major international hit, "Alexander's Ragtime Band", in 1911. ''Ed Wood'' is a 1994 American biographical comedy-drama film directed and produced by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as Ed Wood, the eponymous cult filmmaker. The film concerns the period in Wood's life when he made his best-known films as well as his relationship with actor Bela Lugosi, played by Martin Landau. ''Unwind'' is a 2007 dystopian novel by young adult literature author Neal Shusterman. It takes place in the United States in the near future. After the Second Civil War, which was labeled "The Heartland War", was fought over abortion, a compromise was reached, allowing parents to sign an order for their children between the ages of 13 and 18 to be "unwound" — taken to "harvest camps" and dissected into their body parts for later use. The reasoning is that, since 99.44% of the body is used, unwinds do not technically die because their individual body parts live on. ''Unwind'' received positive reviews upon release, with praise focusing on the novel's immersive environment and sociological implications. It received the Best Book for Young Adults award. Georgina Elaine Cates (born Clare Elaine Woodgate; 14 January 1975) is an English film and television actress. Life and career Born Clare Elaine Woodgate in Colchester, Essex, Cates attended Colchester County High School for Girls and broke into television acting when she was 16 years old, playing the role of Jenny Porter on the BBC's ''2point4 Children''. After two series, she left the show to concentrate on acting in television dramas such as '' Casualty'' and ''The Bill'' and in low-budget films. Nick Chinlund
Zareh Nicholas Chinlund (born November 18, 1961) is an American actor. Early life and education Chinlund was born in New York City. He attended the Friends Seminary in Lower Manhattan, later moving to Albany, New York in order to participate in Albany High School's varsity basketball program. Chinlund had designs on further pursuing basketball at Brown University and majoring in history, but was sidelined with a shoulder injury. The resulting injury left a two-inch scar on his left shoulder.
