Marc-Oliver Kempf
Marc-Oliver Kempf (born 28 January 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. Club career Kempf started his career at Eintracht Frankfurt, appearing for both the reserves and the senior team. On 15 July 2014, Kempf joined SC Freiburg on an immediate transfer from Frankfurt. The transfer fee reportedly amounted to €800,000. On 14 May 2018, Kempf signed a four-year-contract with VfB Stuttgart, enabling him to join the team on a free transfer on 1 July 2018. On 25 January 2022, Kempf signed a contract with Hertha BSC until 2026. International career Kempf has played for each German youth national team from U16 to U21. Oberliga Baden-Württemberg
The Oberliga Baden-Württemberg is the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Overview The league was formed in 1978 as the highest level of play in the state. Previous to that, the four Amateurligas Nordwürttemberg, Schwarzwald-Bodensee, Südbaden and Nordbaden formed the tier right below the 2nd Bundesliga. The 2014–15 Regionalliga was the seventh season of the Regionalliga, the third under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga West – Fortuna Köln – and the winner – SG Sonnenhof Großaspach – and third-placed team - FSV Mainz 05 II - of the Regionalliga Südwest were promoted to the 3. Liga.
