Marc-André Cliche
Marc-André Cliche (born March 23, 1987) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings and the Colorado Avalanche. Playing career As a youth, Cliche played in the 2000 and 2001 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with minor ice hockey teams from Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or. Cliche was drafted in the second round, 56th overall, by the New York Rangers in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was drafted from the QMJHL where he played with the Lewiston Maineiacs for four years. In his final junior season, Cliche was selected and played for Canada at the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. On February 5, 2007, Cliche was traded by the Rangers to the Los Angeles Kings along with Jason Ward and Jan Marek for Sean Avery and John Seymour. Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche (colloquially known as the Avs) are a professional ice hockey team based in Denver. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference. The Avalanche play their home games at Ball Arena, which they share with the NBA's Denver Nuggets and Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. Jason Ward (ice Hockey)
Jason Robert Ward (born January 16, 1979) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. He has played 336 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was born in Chapleau, Ontario. Playing career Ward was drafted 11th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Patrick Roy
Patrick Jacques Roy (; born October 5, 1965) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey goaltender and executive, who serves as the head coach for the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 2017, Roy was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Nicknamed "Saint Patrick," Roy split his playing career in the National Hockey League (NHL) between the Montreal Canadiens, with whom he played for 11 years, and the Colorado Avalanche, with whom he played for eight years. Ontario Reign (ECHL)
The Ontario Reign were a professional ice hockey team from Ontario, California that played in the ECHL. Their home arena was the Citizens Business Bank Arena. They were affiliated with two National Hockey League teams: the Los Angeles Kings were the team's primary affiliate, and the Winnipeg Jets were the secondary affiliate. The Stanley Cup (french: La Coupe Stanley) is the championship trophy awarded annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff champion. It is the oldest existing trophy to be awarded to a professional sports franchise in North America, and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) considers it to be one of the "most important championships available to the sport". The trophy was commissioned in 1892 as the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup and is named after Lord Stanley of Preston, the Governor General of Canada, who donated it as an award to Canada's top-ranking amateur ice hockey club. The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas.
